Now, Marvel Cinematic Universe films are known to keep their audience seated well into the end credit scenes. According to a review, it looks like Deadpool & Wolverine has a post-credit scene that you just cannot afford to miss!

MCU films usually have a mid-credit scene and a post-credit scene but Deadpool & Wolverine only has the latter. While we do not know what Shawn Levy has in store for us just yet, those who got to watch the film earlier than its release date have vouched for the post-credit scene being absolutely insane.

Of course, this is a film we superhero fanatics have been looking forward to ever since it was first announced. The expectations are high and rightly so, everything has been leading up to this film!

Coming to the film’s credits, IGN’s Jeffrey Vega revealed that it will have the audience in a chokehold. In a video posted to the publication’s Instagram account, Vega stated,

Deadpool & Wolverine does not have a mid-credits scene but there is one post-credits scene, and there is something that happens during the credits that once you realize what it is, you won’t be able to look away. It’s very good. You’ve got to see this movie ASAP to avoid spoilers.

Alright, how much longer are we supposed to keep calm?

Since these scenes usually set up the future movies of the MCU, we can only speculate that Deadpool & Wolverine’s post-credits scene is going to include a cameo that will shake things up for the MCU. The question is, who could it be and how does it affect the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars?

Secret Wars is going to be groundbreaking and after an epic Avengers: Endgame, it sure has a lot of expectations on its shoulders. However, with films like Deadpool 3 and all its Easter eggs including the Doctor Doom comic book in the trailer, we are convinced that Kevin Feige has cooked up something special for the fans in Secret Wars.

What are the Critics Saying about Deadpool 3?

The audience reviews are yet to be in but the critics who have already watched the movie sure have a lot to say about the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-starrer.

For starters, Deadpool 3 has a score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes out of 140 reviews. The critical consensus says,

Ryan Reynolds makes himself at home in the MCU with acerbic wit while Hugh Jackman provides an Adamantium backbone to proceedings in Deadpool & Wolverine, an irreverent romp with a surprising soft spot for a bygone era of superhero movies.

IGN’s Tom Jorgensen praised the “electricity” of the film’s opening act as well as the performances of the lead actors. However, he did state his disappointment with the film not topping “some of DP’s more heinous on-screen acts.” All in all, IGN’s score for the film is a solid 7/10. A little less than fans were hoping for!

For those who have been worried about the legacy of Deadpool being spoiled now that it’s a part of Disney, Collider’s Ross Bonaime is here to tell you to calm down. In his review, Bonaime wrote, “Even though Deadpool is now a “Disney property,” this film is far more violent, foul-mouthed, and irreverent towards its surroundings than ever before.” Collider’s score for the film – 8/10.

Of course, not all reviews are positive as the San Francisco Chronicle blasted the film for its lack of plot. On the other hand, The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that Deadpool’s fan-favorite meta jokes were unfortunately “dialed up to radioactive levels.

Despite what the critics have had to say about the film, it’s best if fans do not let it shadow their opinions on Deadpool 3 and find out the truth themselves.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in theatres on July 26.
