Despite being the main character in Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori has yet to unveil his Domain Expansion technique. That could change as the series nears the release of Chapter 245. The former Sukuna vessel could have an ultra-powerful Expansion ability due to the time the King of Curses spent in his body.

Domain Expansion projects the mental landscape that a user is born with as a metaphysical barrier that traps the target inside its four walls. Upon the activation of the domain, the strength of the cursed techniques along with its range is improved. A few have unique domain rules such as Hiromi Higurama’s Deadly Sentencing disallowing anyone to use violence inside the courtroom.

Higurama has trapped Ryomen Sukuna in his Domain Expansion in Chapter 244. Given that the defense attorney has unleashed his full potential, Yuji might use his secret DE technique.

Chapter 240 Gave A Hint About Yuji Itadori’s Domain Expansion In Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuji Itadori mostly relies on his physical combat abilities rather than his cursed energy. However, defeating a completely transformed Sukuna would require more out of him rather than a few punches. Fans believe Yuji’s Domain Expansion will enclose the target in a boxing cage or bestow him superior close-range abilities.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 teased Yuji Itadori’s Domain Expansion. In a colored illustration released in the manga, Yuji’s left arm particularly garnered interest from readers as it had a colorless appearance similar to Sukuna’s arms. It could be due to the development of his version of a Cursed Technique or the channeling of the leftover Sukuna powers in his body.

The peculiar arm may also be a hint towards Soul Manipulation. Chapter 220 showcased Choso handing over a book about the same technique to Yuji Itadori. Given that Mahito was able to distort a person’s body with his Idle Transfiguration because the body and soul are two similar sides, Yuji might be able to manipulate his body parts.

Jujutsu Kaisen has shifted its focus to the battle between the tag team of Higurama and Itadori against Ryomen Sukuna. Previously, the manga depicted the stand-up comedy battle featuring Fumihiko Takaba and Kenjaku, which led to surreal consequences after the entry of Yuta Okkotsu.

Yuji Itadori Might Be Forced To Use Domain Expansion In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 245

In a desperate attempt to save himself and the world, Yuji Itadori may have to channel every ounce of cursed energy to manifest a Domain Expansion. He is staring at the end of the barrel following the conclusion of Chapter 244.

Higurama has trapped both Sukuna and Yuji in his Deadly Sentencing Domain Expansion. However, the defendant is Itadori while the King of Curses is acting as a witness to the prosecution. The shinigami (Judgeman) has once again accused Itadori of committing mass murder in Shibuya on October 31, 2018, for which the latter had previously pled guilty, and awaits a death sentence.

Chapter 245 ends with Sukuna about to reveal “the real culprit” for the Shibuya Incident. Gege Akutami ended the chapter with a massive cliffhanger: will the King of Curses take the fall for his wrongdoings, now that he feels supreme, or will he cleverly blame it on Yuji Itadori?
