Benedict Cumberbatch has been nailing every role that he has taken up in his career. Joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dr. Stephen Strange back in 2016, Cumberbatch has maintained his acting level throughout the years.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a wild and scary movie, to say the least. With the Incursion Universe in view, the film was equally terrifying and exhilarating. A concept art for the same shows a universe where Doctor Strange could have met with multiple variants of himself. The only catch is… they were all dead.

What seems to be an already terrifying sequel was made more terrifying by the concept art. Created by Thomas du Crest and uploaded on ArtStation, the artist created some horrifying images of Doctor Strange in the Incursion lands.
For those unversed, the Incursion is the place where two universes collide. Leaving one dying universe behind, the remains of that universe are usually left undisturbed. Fans will remember this by looking at the final sequence of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where they meet the Evil Strange. Well, Thomas du Crest just thought about how the land would look if it was littered with Doctor Strange’s dead variants and honestly, it’s pretty cool.
Well, the concept art does look terrifying but the thought of a thousand Doctor Strange(s) lying dead in a desert does seem quite a strong image. The MCU had their chance to depict several variants of the all-powerful sorcerer but instead, they chose to show a different side to the movie. Being a gem of an actor, Cumberbatch has helped his colleagues learn some things about acting.
Most notably, his Avengers: Endgame co-star Tom Holland, praised Cumberbatch for being a gentleman and revealing to the world that he hated crying scenes until the Sherlock actor taught him how to cry properly!

Tom Holland had a difficult time crying while on sets of his projects. Requiring tears for an emotional scene, Holland hated having to shoot since he could not cry on command. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Holland stated that his co-star and good friend Benedict Cumberbatch taught him how to cry.
“He would do this thing where he would kind of simulate laughing and he would breathe really, really quickly, and that would sort of, I guess, bring the emotion to the surface, and he could just take it and ride the wave from there, and I started doing that. I love crying scenes now.”
Well, that surely helped Tom Holland in his career. As for Cumberbatch, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness received a rating of 6.9/10 on IMDB and 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. The 2022 movie is available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S.
