Once again, he has stepped up into the spotlight along with several other filmmakers to call out the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) against its environment-harming procedures all the while raising a petition against it and raising awareness among people regarding the same.
Mark Ruffalo Hulks Out On RBC’s Illicit Procedures
Mark Ruffalo recently raised his voice against the unfair practices followed by the Royal Bank of Canada which are highly harmful to the environment. Taking it to Twitter to share his concern for the same, he tweeted:

While his concern is being appreciated and applauded as well, it is also facing quite some backlash as some fans compare his rage against the Royal Bank of Canada to his not-hulking-out in front of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War when the latter was just a snap away from wiping out half the population.
Regardless, being the rightly commended celebrity that he is, Mark Ruffalo is only paying so much attention to the trolls and is continuing his hard work in trying to save the world.
Mark Ruffalo’s Rage Comes After Filmmakers Speak Out On The Matter
Besides Mark Ruffalo, several other concerned filmmakers are speaking out on the issue at hand as well. As per reports, over 214 directors have signed an open letter calling on the Toronto Film Festival to terminate business with RBC, its longtime sponsor for over sixteen years, for ‘financing oil projects on Indigenous lands and in BIPOC communities.’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the letter addressed to TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey states that:
“Multiple leading Indigenous and BIPOC organizations and nations have denounced the bank’s indiscriminate enabling of projects on their lands, which they argue fail to respect their fundamental rights.”
