Dragon Ball characters, be they protagonists or antagonists, are known to be some of the strongest characters in the anime and manga universe. One such character is Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7. Although he is now a supporting character in Dragon Ball Super, he was introduced as one of the strongest villains Akira Toriyama’s universe has ever seen.

There are very few characters in the anime and manga world who can be compared to the extremely dangerous strength of the God of Destruction. Even the likes of Goku and Vegeta together could not defeat the character. However, Jujutsu Kaisen fans have recently made a claim that might not be liked by Dragon Ball fans.

Fans of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen shared a post on X(Formerly Twitter) that pointed out that the antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna, might be stronger than Beerus. This sparked an internet dispute between both groups over who would be a better modern-day villain, Sukuna or Beerus.

The Unfathomable Power of God of Destruction Beerus

Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball universe has seen a lot of villains, but none of them even come close to Lord Beerus. He was the first antagonist introduced in Dragon Ball Super, along with his attendant Whis. And even though Beerus had a change of heart and moved towards the good side, he still retains the title of the strongest Dragon Ball villain.

When Beerus was introduced in the story, it was revealed that even a small energy blast from his one finger could destroy an entire planet. He was the first character Goku faced as a Super Saiyan God, and even though Beerus was holding back, Goku was not able to land a single decent punch on him and was ultimately defeated.

Even during the battle between the Gods of Destruction in the Tournament of Power arc, all the other 11 gods decide to team up against Beerus because they know that he is the strongest among all of them. However, even all the gods together were not able to defeat Beerus, giving the fans a hint at the might of Beerus.

Jujutsu Kaisen Fans Think Sukuna is Stonger Than Beerus

A poll was posted by Ranker where the fans decided the ranks for the strongest modern anime villains, and the initial results of the poll put Sukuna above Beerus. A fan account posted this result and mocked the Jujutsu Kaisen fanbase for thinking that Sukuna could ever become stronger than Beerus.

This led to a huge debate among Dragon Ball and Jujutsu Kaisen fans, where they discussed the strengths and abilities of the two strongest antagonists in the anime and manga worlds.

Dragon Ball fans were not at all happy with the Jujutsu Kaisen fans thinking that Sukuna could beat the God of Destruction in a 1-v-1 battle.

Even though Dragon Ball fans humbled Jujutsu Kaisen fans, there is no correct way to find out whether Sukuna is stronger or weaker than Beerus. Both of them come from a totally different universe and while one is the God of Destruction, another is the King of Curses.
