One Piece chapter 1121 spoilers

Emet, or as the One Piece fans know him, the Iron Giant, has been the biggest aid for the Straw Hat Pirates on Egghead Island in One Piece, as he has managed to protect the crew from the attacks of the Gorosei ever since he heard the Drums of Liberation. These unique heartbeat rhythms are the only possible way to power Emet up.

Emet’s power reflects the fact that the Ancient Kingdom’s invention attacked Mary Geoise 200 years ago and almost succeeded, but for some reason ran out of energy. While no one knows why or how a 900-year-old Iron Giant suddenly woke up, made it to the top of the Grand Line, and reached Mary Geoise, the only thing that is certain is that he only listened to Joy Boy.

However, a recent revelation in One Piece chapter 1121’s spoilers might have answered the question about the Iron Giant, and this answer revolves around the famous mystery character who has become the talk of the town for a few days.

The Iron Giant’s Attack on Mary Geoise

Although no one knows where the Iron Giant was hiding for almost 700 years, the one thing that is certain is that it was created by the futuristic technology of the Ancient Kingdom, and the energy source that was needed to power it was unknown, until Luffy transformed into Gear 5 and the Drums of Liberation started echoing around Egghead Island.

While there is no other power source discovered for the Iron Giant, the one thing that forms the biggest mystery around the enigmatic robot is the fact that not only did he climb the Red Line, but also attack Mary Geoise, which ideally should be the safest place as it provides residence to the World Nobles.

According to the One Piece timeline, not much happened 200 years ago except for the Iron Giant’s attack. Therefore, nothing could be investigated about the origin of the Iron Giant or his sudden waking, which became a problem for Mary Geoise.

The World Government’s Heinous Act That Woke Up the Iron Giant

The spoilers of One Piece chapter 1121 revealed that a mysterious character has been introduced in the series. While fans had many opinions about it, one of those assumed that the mysterious character is actually the Seraphim or a clone of the Former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, as the World Government had access to his body.

This led to the development of another bizarre theory by u/Beachesblameme that maybe the World Government was trying to clone Joy Boy and his Nika Devil Fruit and somehow succeeded in developing the rhythm of the Drums of Liberation. And thus, the Iron Giant rose from the ashes and came to aid his friend.

While this theory has plotholes, all the evidence suggests that the World Government can stoop to the lowest of the lows in order to keep their dominance, and it wouldn’t be a far-fetched idea for them to clone the first Pirate of the One Piece world. However, if they have succeeded in doing so, Luffy is in for a lot of trouble in the future.
