However, one panel of chapter 1107 which featured the Sanji vs. Kizaru fight, has shocked One Piece fans. The panel showed Sanji not only stopping one of Kizaru’s laser attacks but also splitting it into pieces. This has come as a shock to One Piece fans because something like this has never been done before in the series.

By creating this panel Eiichiro Oda has broken a cardinal rule of One Piece because stopping laser attacks much less splitting it into pieces is deemed impossible in One Piece.

Sanji Stops Kizaru’s Lightning Attacks

Fans have witnessed a great deal of the immensely strong character Sanji, the cook for the Straw Hat Pirates, throughout the Egghead arc. Sanji was most recently seen fighting Admiral Kizaru, who is well-known among fans as a powerful character. One Piece was bound to have a fight between Sanji and Kizaru at some time.

Finally, Kizaru vs. Sanji took place in One Piece chapter 1107, and it was undoubtedly amazing to watch. Kizaru chose to use his light-based abilities to eliminate Bonney and Vegapunk this time. Sanji, on the other hand, arrived just in time to dispel Kizaru’s light beam. Even Kizaru was surprised when Sanji used his strong kick to break light itself, spreading it all over the place.

When Sanji was fighting Queen in Wano, he was able to awaken the hidden Germa capabilities within him. This gave him a great level of power. He was certainly living up to the name of the wings of the future King of the Pirates. But his stopping Kizaru’s attack is truly an unheard-of feat. No one in One Piece has ever been able to stop a laser attack in One Piece.

Eiichiro Oda Broke The Cardinal Rule in One Piece

Laser attacks can’t be stopped in One Piece. No one has ever been able to stop laser attacks and, especially Kizaru’s attacks. In the land of Wano, Sanji was bestowed with an amazing power that enabled him to change into a terrifying fighter. However, it was extremely amazing because he not only stopped the laser strike but also divided it into pieces.

Furthermore, he sustained no injuries at all. The impact of this move was so shocking that it even made Kizaru think. Laser attacks are impossible to stop in One Piece. Powerful characters like Kaido and Big Mom were also afraid of laser-based attacks. Even Rayleigh in Sabaody did not stop Kizaru’s laser attack but deflected it when he was saving Zoro.

This has changed a major cardinal rule in One Piece which is unexpected from Eiichiro Oda. However, this can also indicate that Sanji has some hidden mysterious power that he might awaken in the future. This newfound strength can come in handy in the next phase of the One Piece storyline.
