Boa Hancock is one of the most powerful female characters in One Piece. She was introduced in the Amazon Lily arc, and since then, she has been an ally of Luffy and his crew. She helped Luffy reach Impel Down to save his brother Ace, and she even helped him get better after the Paramount War in the Marineford arc.

Boa Hancock recently made an appearance in the story when Blackbeard decided to go after her Devil Fruit abilities. Many believe that she is one of the worst-written characters in the series because her role is quite short compared to her powers, which does not do justice to her character and her abilities.

However, there is a chance that Eiichiro Oda might be saving her for the final war and will bring her back to help the Straw Hat Pirates fight the World Government during the conclusion. This is because Boa Hancock’s past is connected to the World Government and the cruelty they showed to the people in One Piece.

Boa Hancock’s Connection to the World Government

During the Amazon Lily arc, Eiichiro Oda sheds light on Boa Hancock’s past and how she was tortured by the World Government. It was revealed that she and her sisters were captured by slavers and sold to the Celestial Dragons. The Celestial Dragons tortured her and force-fed her the Love-Love Devil Fruit so that she could entertain them.

However, she was later rescued by Fisher Tiger and taken in by Rayleigh and Shakuyaku. From there on, she improved her abilities and became the Captain of the Kuja Pirates and the Empress of the Kuja Tribe. She even earned the title of Pirate Empress and later became the only female warlord in the One Piece universe.

Hancock has a sad and depressing connection with the World Government. Earlier, she could not take revenge against them because she wanted to earn the title of warlord to protect her sisters and her tribe. But now, as the Warlord System has been disabled by the World Government, she has a chance to avenge all the torture she had to go through when she was a child.

Boa Hancock Might Play a Crucial Role in the Final War

Boa Hancock last appeared in Chapter 1059, where she was being hunted by the Navy and the Blackbeard Pirates. While she was able to deal with the Navy and two of the Blackbeard Pirates, she did not stand a chance against Blackbeard himself. However, Rayleigh came at the most crucial time and saved her.

It was then revealed that Hancock might not stay on Amazon Lily as she is being hunted constantly. If she has decided to travel the seas and hide from her enemies, the best option for her would be to find Luffy and take his help. However, Luffy is currently busy on Egghead Island. Therefore, she is most likely going to meet Luffy during the Elbaf arc.

If this happens, it will confirm that Hancock will be a part of the Final war against the World Government. Given her past and her love for Luffy, she is going to help him defeat the World Government and free the One Piece world from its long, ongoing tyranny.
