Chapter 1110 which is scheduled to release on March 17, 2024, has now become the most anticipated chapter of the series as it will not only show how Luffy is going to battle all the Five Elders alone but whether he will get help from someone or not. Earlier fans hoped that Luffy’s father Monkey D. Dragon might make an entrance to help his son.

However, there is a One Piece theory that explains a much more plausible way for Luffy to turn the tide against Saturn. The theory states that Zunesha, the elephant who carries the island of Zou, might come to rescue his friend Luffy from the grasp of the Five Elders.

Zunesha’s Role in One Piece

Zunesha is a Naitamie-Norida elephant who was associated with Joy Boy 800 years ago. It currently walks around the New World, carrying the island of Zou on its back as a penance for an unnamed crime it did previously. Zunesha was a companion of Joy Boy during the Void Century, thus making it an important character in the future of the story of One Piece

Zunesha possesses the “Voice of All Things,” which allows it to speak telepathically with others who have this ability. Given that it existed before the Void Century, Zunesha is the oldest living being ever introduced in the series. Zunesha is significant because of its immense size as well as its ability to communicate with those who possess the Voice of All Things, a unique and enigmatic talent.

Luffy also possesses the Voice of All Things and had previously talked to Zunesha during the Zou arc. They formed a bond, and Zunesha even came to help Luffy during the Wano arc, but Luffy had already defeated Kaido by that time.

Zunesha Could Help Luffy Turn The Tide Against The Five Elders

There’s a theory posted by @imonster44 that states that Luffy might not get help from his father but from Zunesha, the ancient elephant with enigmatic connections to the Void Century. Zunesha might soon make a big appearance to support Monkey D. Luffy, in his conflict with The Five Elders, given that Saturn utilized his powers to fetch the elders.

Zunesha is transporting Zou Island on its back. Thus, the presence of the Mink tribe to Egghead as well as the old elephant would be very beneficial to Luffy and his companions. Zunesha had previously made an appearance while Luffy was in Wano Country and wanted to help him because he felt the drum of liberation and connected Luffy with JoyBoy.

This implies that the massive animal might have a significant part to play in the plot’s resolution. Thus, it is very much possible that the giant elephant may make an appearance in the series as Luffy might need someone as powerful as Zunesha if he wants to defeat all Five Elders and escape from Egghead Island.
