The Five Elders have entered the main battle currently ongoing on the Egghead Island in One Piece. As they entered the fight, all of them started showing a glimpse of their powers and it was truly terrifying. Their tremendous powers have not only shocked the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies but also the Navy.

The main twist in the story is that they not only possess rare and powerful Devil Fruit abilities but also have a bunch of other strengths that have never been seen before in the world of One Piece. And now it has become Luffy’s responsibility to not only defeat the Five Elders, but also make an escape from Egghead Island.

However, it will surely not be easy. In addition to all this, the spoilers for the upcoming chapter 1111 have indicated that Luffy might not be enough to fight all the Five Elders by himself. Although he has the help of Dorry and Brogy, he might need more than that if he wants to move towards the next phase of One Piece.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead

The Terrifying Powers of The Five Elders

The ongoing storyline of One Piece’s egghead island arc revealed that Saturn summoned all members of the Five Elders, and they are now all adamant about destroying the Straw Hat Pirates. They have displayed some amazing abilities that are unheard of in the One Piece universe. Their power for regeneration is the most terrifying of their abilities.

In the previous chapters when Saturn was the only one of the Five Elders fighting, he displayed some great regenerative abilities. He was able to regenerate from the attacks of characters like Bartholomew Kuma and even Gear 5 Luffy. And the spoilers for the upcoming chapter have stated that all of the Five Elders possess the regenerative power.

When it comes to regeneration, none of the healing Devil Fruits depicted in the series can match the powers of the Five Elders. Furthermore, their mythological Devil Fruit abilities make them more terrifying. It was difficult for Luffy to deal with one of the Five Elders and now he has to face all of them together.

Luffy’s Powers Might Not Be Enough To Defeat The Five Elders

In the spoilers of One Piece Chapter 1111, Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy are seen fighting all of the Gorosei except Mars, who is on his way to Labophase to interrupt the broadcast of Vegapunk to the world. Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy try their level best to hurt the Five Elders but their regenerative abilities prove to be much more powerful. This led to Luffy stating that they must be immortal.

Dorry and Brogy, who are also attempting to assist Luffy and have been around for almost a century, have stated that they have never heard of any race capable of doing so. The casual pointing out of Luffy that the Five Elders might be immortal may be a huge hint dropped by Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the series.

If this turns out to be true, Luffy and the Giants might not be enough to beat the Five Elders. They might need something more powerful or somehow distract the Five Elders so that they can escape from the Egghead Island.
