After the Wano arc, three of the Worst Generation pirates, Eustass Kidd, Trafalgar Law, and Monkey D. Luffy, set out on separate paths. Trafalgar Law, nicknamed Surgeon of Death, chose to go to North. On his journey, darkness surrounded him.
The Lodestar Island will be closer to him since he was traveling north. But before that could happen, one of the Emperors of the Sea, Blackbeard, ambushed him. It is still not clear why he ambushed him, but the One Piece fans predict that Law has something that might be more precious to Blackbeard than his Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit.
Blackbeard Has Joined the Race of Reaching Laugh Tale
Marshall D. Teech, popularly known as Blackbeard, is one of the most mysterious pirates in One Piece and has a powerful pirate crew with ten strong commanders. He is shown to have the unique ability to steal Devil Fruits. By hunting down powerful Devil Fruits, he has made his crew pretty powerful. Fans thought his reason for ambushing Law might be to steal his Devil Fruit powers. But the Yami Yami no Mi user might have a greater reason for ambushing him.
Blackbeard, like his fellow Worst Generation pirates, has entered the race to reach Laughtale first and get hold of the One Piece. But to reach Laugh Tale, four Road Poneglyphs are required. Only after deciphering the four Road Poneglyphs can a person locate Laugh Tale’s location. The first Road Poneglyph is located on the Island of Zou, the second one is at Whole Cake Island, and the third is in Wano. The fourth’s location remains unknown.
Being one of the members of the Ninja Pirate Mink Samurai Alliance, Law has the prints of two Road Poneglyphs, the Island of Zou and the Land of Wano. Blackbeard might look to steal them after ambushing the Surgeon of Death. Both the captains have more than 3 Billion berries bounty, so there is bound to be destruction.
Blackbeard’s Journey Towards the One Piece
Previously, Blackbeard had gone to the Whole Cake Island, and there is a possibility that he might be the one who kidnapped Pudding while raiding Big Mom’s territory. Blackbeard may have got Big Mon’s Road Poneglyph and took Pudding since she belongs to the Three-eyed tribe. The Three-eyed tribe members are known to have the ability to read poneglyphs.
So, ambushing Trafalgar Law will get him closer to the One Piece with three of the Road Poneglyphs. On top of that, he might also steal Law’s Devil Fruit powers. His Ope Ope no Mi is one of the best powers in One Piece, but to use it to its fullest extent, medical knowledge is required. Blackbeard may be a mysterious character, but his intentions are pretty clear.
Like every other pirate, he wants to get the One Piece. He has a lot of patience and carefully plans his next movie. Law vs. Blackbeard could potentially be a change in the course of Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus. It might so happen that Blackbeard vs. Monkey D. Luffy will take place on Laughtale, and the winner might take it all.
For the moment, fans are excited to see the recent fight. But until any kind of official confirmation, everything remains a fan theory. It will be interesting to see how the Final Saga of One Piece lines up with all these fights.
