Monkey D. Luffy surpassed everyone’s expectations when he unlocked his true potential against Kaido. Transforming into Gear 5 helped him defeat Kaido with ease. Apart from Luffy’s progress, the Wano arc also showed Zoro and Sanji’s progress as they defeated King and Queen. But still, it was as if they were missing something.
In the latest One Piece chapter, the missing puzzle was solved by Eiichiro Oda. The Egghead Island arc is slowly coming to an end. It showed Zoro taking on Rob Lucci of CP0. Rob Lucci was the main antagonist of Enies Lobby arc and was defeated by Luffy. But now, he awakened his Devil Fruit and massively improved his stats. Even King of Hell Zoro would have a tough time.
Since the beginning of the Marine attack, they have been fighting, and Zoro did well enough to fend him off. During his previous fights, Zoro always tried to finish his fight before or got injured if the fight extended. But in the latest fight, he is seen to have improved his endurance, stamina, and agility. Last time, he was no match for Lucci, but currently, he is giving him a hard time.
On the other hand, Sanji unlocked his hardened exoskeleton like his Germa siblings. It helped him produce a more powerful ability to defeat Queen. In the Egghead arc, he was unharmed after Jaygarcia Saturn attacked him. In the latest chapter, he was seen to fight Admiral Kizaru and even blocked one of his laser beams. Both Kizaru and Franky were left shocked as to how he managed to block it.
One Piece’s Monster Trio Has Finally Awakened
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were the main characters in Eiichiro Oda’s magnum. All three of them have trained rigorously and got habituated to the advanced form of Haki. While the former two have Conqueror’s Haki, Sanji has mastery over Armament Haki. Egghead Island rectified all of their weaknesses. Zoro improved his endurance, and Sanji has finally got the spotlight he deserved for so long.
Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji have proven their worth as the perfect wingman to Monkey D. Luffy. They have become strong enough to challenge the strongest characters in One Piece. The Strawhats’ last meeting with Kizaru and Rob Lucci was nothing short of a nightmare. But this time, they become true monsters and can convert their nightmare into visions of fulfilling their dreams.
