Jackie Chan is widely celebrated among cinema enthusiasts for his work in the action and comedy genres. Throughout several of his films, the actor has impressed his fans with his slapstick fighting style. However, the presently 70-year-old actor did something unthinkable that blew Jason Isaacs’ mind.

While chatting with host Jonathan Ross in an episode of BBC’s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Jason Isaacs shared that Jackie Chan blew his mind by catching a fly. The Harry Potter star added that one day, while shooting, he tried to catch a fly but failed. However, the martial arts superstar caught the fly bare-handed and gave his cooler version of “I am Batman!”

Like we were shooting a shot one day, there was a fly on the counter but I come zoned in and I’m gonna get this thing my I missed it anyway. [Jackie Chan said] No No Jason, see fly, they have eyes, they see all around. Here how you come from behind and I said ‘You haven’t got a fly in your hand, get out!’ and he went ‘I am Jackie Chan!’

Initially, Jason Isaacs did not want to believe him. But Chan stayed cool and made the Black Hawk Down star go speechless by pulling off the incredible feat once again. You can check out the interview here:

Several fans may argue that another Hollywood legend Tom Cruise has also contributed significantly to the genre. But it must be noted that Jackie Chan mostly works in the slapstick genre, which may not involve massive-scale action sequences but requires him to perform more stunts in number.
