And as if his past reputation never existed, he became one of the most beloved stars that the film industry has seen to date.
And when actor Alden Ehrenreich, who worked with him in the recent Christopher Nolan masterpiece Oppenheimer, talked about just how positive he was about RDJ, we can understand why he is so loved by all.

In a recent interview profile with Vanity Fair, the Solo: A Star Wars Story star talked about his experience working with Nolan and the Sherlock Holmes star, where he also revealed just how taken aback he was when he met Downey Jr. He said that the star was probably the most he had connected with an A-lister during the production of a film in his career.
He opened up about how the star, despite being an A-list celebrity, was completely immersed in his role and read his character’s biography inside-out. He said:
“We developed as much of a friendship as I’ve really ever developed with any actor I’ve ever worked with, What I find exciting on screen to watch is when something real is happening between two people—not two actors who are delivering performances to each other.”
The star also talked about how Downey Jr. won the hearts of every single crew member along with the cast on the sets during filming.

What Does His MCU Co-Stars Say About RDJ?
While Ehrenreich may have witnessed just how wonderful the star is in real life, his co-stars in the MCU side of things have experienced this for many years now.
Robert Downey Jr. is friends with almost every single one of the stars that have been featured in the MCU and even has been an inspiration for many. Tom Holland is a fine example of this as he calls the star his Godfather in the industry. Along with that, stars like Chris Hemsworth also revealed how influential he had been during his last days in the franchise, helping him with his role as Thor. These stories and many more are a surreal reminder of just how amazing a man the actor really is.
