Charlize Theron Was Hospitalized for Laughing Too Hard

“A few of us went to go and see Borat and half way through that movie I laughed so hard that my neck locked up. And, like, an ambulance had to take me to the hospital. And I was in the hospital for five days. I didn’t finish the movie! I’ve never, like, fully finished the movie.” 

Charlize Theron once shared a tragic story during her appearance on Late Night Show with Seth Meyers. She claimed that she had to be admitted to the hospital for five days because she laughed too much while watching a movie, Borat. Theron had a previous injury to her neck and had installed a herniated disk on her neck which provided support to the entire region.

An ambulance had to be called to the theatres and she was rushed to a hospital where she was kept under severe care for five days before being released. Despite the movie being released decades ago, the actress has yet to complete it.

The Old Guard 2 will be Theron’s next project, and Netflix will pay for the development. Even though not many facts about the film, the screenplay, and the release date have been published, they are all still a mystery. But the film is eagerly anticipated by social media users and fans, particularly in light of the previous movie’s success.
