Two-division world champion Conor McGregor met American rapper P. Diddy in Los Angeles in 2014 at a college football game. The duo posed for a picture together, but as it turns out, the UFC champ and the rapper didn’t have a great encounter. According to McGregor, something was off about Diddy.
Appearing on The Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy, Conor McGregor opened up about his first meeting with P. Diddy. Asked by the host about his experience running into the rapper, McGregor claimed their meeting wasn’t all pleasant. The UFC champ even joked about wanting to give P. Diddy a left to the chin for his behavior.

UFC star Conor McGregor met with American rapper P. Diddy for the first time in 2014 at a college football game. The two posed together for pictures alongside former UFC champ Michael Bisping. But surprisingly, McGregor and Diddy didn’t have the most pleasant meetings. During his appearance on The Late Late Show via Steven Mod, the champion implied that the rapper was being a bit obnoxious.
Following their 2014 meeting, as Conor McGregor appeared on the show, host Ryan Tubridy pulled out an image of the duo from when they posed together during the game. Asking above their first encounter, Tubridy questioned if P. Diddy asked him for a photo or if it was the other way around. To which McGregor stated that Diddy didn’t even want to get a picture.
“P. Diddy’s a little up his own a**, to be honest. We were at a college football game – UCLA. But he is, you know, he didn’t even want to get in the picture. He barely shook my hand.”
Discussing how the first encounter went, Conor McGregor expressed his frustration. Joking about how P. Diddy’s attitude and behavior made him want to throw punches at him, the UFC champ implied that he almost wanted to land his touch of death on the rapper.

During his appearance on The Late Late Show, Conor McGregor claimed to have had the worst meeting with P. Diddy. Speaking about how the rapper barely shook hands and even refused to get a picture together, McGregor admitted that he wanted to hit the rapper. Now, the UFC champion is known for his single-shot power punches, so guess what would have happened if he had let out his intrusive thought?
“I was about to give him just a left to the chin. This is LA, isn’t it? You just go around meeting people. I’m just having fun. P. Diddy’s on the bottom of the list of people I wanted to meet, especially after finally meeting him.”
Explaining that while P. Diddy seemingly behaved obnoxiously, even Conor McGregor wasn’t excited about meeting the rapper. Claiming that Diddy is at the bottom of his list of people to meet, the UFC champion stunned fans when he opened up about his desire to hit the rapper.
Well, Conor McGregor has been labeled as a “freak athlete with a touch of death who just zaps people” via Business Insider, by Joe Rogan for a reason. And considering the UFC champion’s desire to hit P. Diddy, it seems the rapper might have gotten a taste of brutal punch for his behavior at the 2014 game. But thankfully, nothing happened and the duo simply moved on with their mutual dislike for each other.
