Palworld Announces Massive Update With New Island and More
Back in April 2024, Pocketpair announced that a big summer update would be coming soon, and after over a month of waiting, the developer released a trailer at Summer Game Fest 2024 announcing the latest Sakurajima update and also revealing the release date. The update arrives on June 27, 2024, for both PC and console.
The update will bring a whole set of new things to the game. The one-and-a-half-minute trailer showcased the amazing world of the new island coming to the game, which seems to be Asia-inspired and is full of swamps. Several new Pals were also shown that will soon grace the game.
These will come alongside sub-species that players will be able to discover in the game and befriend on their journey to the new land. The new island will also have a new raid boss that has been shown in the trailer, with players trying to take it down. There will also be hard-mode bosses that will test the player’s skills and abilities in the new world.
The Update Also Comes With Xbox Dedicated Servers and PvP Arena
Players will now have another area to level up the action as they can take on an enemy stronghold, the Oil Rig and the update also allows players to expand their buildings and raises the level cap. What’s more exciting is that Xbox players will now get dedicated servers that will improve their online experience.
The new PvP Arena mode will also be coming with the latest Palworld update. The trailer showcased several pals with a couple of players but did not share any other details on how it will work, such as how many players can play together. More information can be expected as the release date of the update approaches.
A new faction is also included in the Sakurajima update, which players can befriend. The new update looks to be an amazing way to get the players back to the game. This update is part of a long content roadmap and players are excited about the update.
