Sarah Natochenny did her best to bring Ash Ketchum to life through her talent in voice acting and it is high time for her gifts to be used in other entertainment mediums like gaming. Natochenny voiced Ash in English for the last 17 years which made her well-known in the community.
Pokémon Voice Actor Is Now A Part of Fortnite
It is awesome to see voice actors who helped shape the childhood of many be a part of something bigger like video games. There is a strong likelihood that these players grew up watching the anime series and will be pleased to hear a familiar voice just in a different tone.

It appears that Natochenny will be voicing Ringmaster Scarr who is also part of the latest Battle Pass alongside Magneto from Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97. Natochenny will probably be using a different voice which is chief among the talents of voice actors. These people can alter and even mimic nearly identical voices of popular people but also come up with something original.
It is unknown how much voice work Natochenny has done for this season or how often the players could hear her voice in a match but it is a cool tidbit of information knowing the voice actress of a beloved franchise made her way into something else that the community adores. Perhaps there will still be a touch of Ash in her performance for players to notice.
Fortnite Should Recruit More Prolific Voice Actors
The latest season of the game rolled out a few days ago and introduced new bosses. Ringmaster Scarr is among the new additions that players can encounter as she and her convoy carry a powerful medallion that offers unlimited ammunition and a damage buff that could level the playing field against a deadly vehicle with mounted machine guns.
It is essential to provide a compelling voice for new characters that players can face down. It will make the exchange of attacks much more personal and intense especially if players come to realize they are gunning down the Pokémon Master.
Although her role is not as prominent as many had hoped, it is still a pleasure to hear a professional at work. Natochenny’s success gave her a career and other companies shouldn’t hesitate to get her involved in an upcoming project.
Epic Games should consider hiring more talent from popular franchises to lure the fans into consuming that content. Perhaps fans of the series never had any interest in the game until they heard a familiar voice.
