Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated movie Oppenheimer is making its way to the theatres and the world will get to know the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer on 21 July 2023. The war drama movie is clashing with two big releases of the month which are Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7.

Can’t deliver a ranking but all I’ll say is I wanted him to so badly scale back after TENET and not only did he by making this a character piece but he managed to tell it in such a grand way that fit the significance of the story.

According to some internet users, the story of the father of the atomic bomb is a monumental achievement from the 52-year-old director. People are counting the days until the release and for some users, Murphy’s movie might make history.
Christopher Nolan says there is an element of fear in Oppenheimer
During an interview, the Inception director talked about the reactions he received from the people who have watched his war drama movie before its release. While recalling their reactions Nolan said,
“Some people leave the movie absolutely devastated. They can’t speak. I mean, there’s an element of fear that’s there in the history and there in the underpinnings. But the love of the characters, the love of the relationships, is as strong as I’ve ever done.”
He further added,
“It is an intense experience because it’s an intense story. I showed it to a filmmaker recently who said it’s kind of a horror movie. I don’t disagree.”

It’s hard to say what to expect from the upcoming Nolan film as there will be an element of surprise in every scene according to fans. When the Tenet director was asked if he used CGI for Oppenheimer, Nolan immediately said there are no CGI shots in the movie. The British American filmmaker stated that he has spent months working on the small and big details related to the film to make sure that he gets what he expected from the film.
As Margot Robbie’s Barbie and Oppenheimer are releasing on the same date, the fans of both films have created a hashtag #Barbenheimer and it has taken over the internet.
