Although the trailer was just a minute and a half long, it was enough to light the atmosphere with its bright color aesthetics, different heroes, and abilities that range from melee combat to elemental magic. Moreover, the unmatched soundtrack only heated up the atmosphere.

We have witnessed various heroes outpouring their ultimate abilities, weaving through parts of the map, and taking over enemy bases, a standard of every MOBA game.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, it is the first of its kind and outmatches several other games on the market. The gameplay is smoother than ever before, with heroes full of tiny details that make them ever so unique.

Robbie Singh founded Omeda Studios in 2020 and worked to overhaul Paragon to create a completely new game. The new and improved version is stocked with exciting characters, maps, gameplay mechanics, and more, ultimately receiving the name Predecessor.

The game has 35 different heroes at launch, with unique abilities that are both passive and active, alongside the ultimate ability that for some can be a game-changer.

The trailer was a glimpse of the action that this game will offer to fans of these genres that blend in a new, never-seen-before experience.

Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the game has a modern feel, unlike League of Legends or another industry great, DOTA 2, among others, with a mix of looter/shooter games.

The evolution of the genre wouldn’t be complete without the cross-play feature, which means that the game is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5, so players can match between platforms.

Like every other standard MOBA, this one will have a ton of rewards, including custom skins for players to earn or purchase with in-game currency
