The couple went public with their relationship after the split was declared between Judd and Lopez. The couple then soon got engaged in November 2002. In a recent video, Ben Affleck is seen opening the door for Jennifer Lopez and then slamming it shut in her face with an irritated expression, after which he looked more upset at the paparazzi. Another incident took place on the red carpet of Lopez’s latest movie, The Mother, where he was seen screaming at Lopez. Fans speculate that Affleck may be repeating previous patterns and might be unhappy because of not getting the privacy he wants.
The Mirror had Judi James, a body language expert analyze the couple’s interactions. They believe that the different outbursts are indicative that the two might not last very long.
“Their previous split left Jennifer ‘heartbroken’ and she did suggest that ‘being under siege’ from the press caused a problem for them as a couple,” he later stated. “The worry is if he is again finding being ‘under siege’ difficult, which could in turn worry Jennifer if there was a repeat of the pressures that led to their first engagement and marriage being called off.”
Judi also believes that Affleck’s door-shutting gesture seemed dramatic and irritating, even though it was aimed at the photographers.
