In a Facebook Watch episode of Red Table Talk with mother Jada Pinkett Smith and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Willow Smith reveals she is not afraid to go all-out bare in front of the camera:
“Low-key, I’m down for the expensive-looking stuff. I’m down for the artistic. If it’s artsy!”
Pinkett Smith was “disturbed” at first, but later on, revealed that she also had an addiction to watching adult videos when she was younger:
“If I was still on my p*rn game, I’d be able to show you some good p*rn ‘cause back in the day I had a little p*rn addiction. But I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a p*rn addiction, thank goodness.”
The young Smith revealed she started watching adult films when she was around 11, and it was her friends who influenced her. Willow was quite open with her parents about her fascination with mature videos. She did not even hide it from her mother, who used to check her social media accounts:
“I remember the first time I went on Willow’s Tumblr, she was 10 or 11. She was very matter-of-fact, she said, ‘I’m going to my Tumblr page but as we’re going through the Tumblr page you’re going to see a lot of stuff. This has nothing to do with me’. So, she’s just scrolling, scrolling, and when I tell you I saw some of the most hardcore p*rnography on Tumblr.”
The I Am Legend star professed that she is lucky to have a close relationship with her parents and she could tell them anything without judgment:
“The thing that I will say though is that because I had you and daddy to actually have real conversations with, that stuff didn’t affect me because I had a connection with people I could talk to about it.”
While the subject at hand was quite a normal talk for the Smiths, Banfield-Norris felt it was too much for her to take in, looking a little flushed on camera.

In a time when people used to frown upon the subject, this healthy discussion was an eye-opener for Banfield-Norris, sharing that she “grew up in a household that just created a lot of shame.” Like Willow, Jada also revealed she prefers “artistic” acts to hardcore ones:
“You have the p*rn that’s more sensual. It’s very sensual, done in a very artistic way. You know, more about lovemaking instead of abuse and aggression.”
