Ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin and controversial influencer Andrew Tate has brutally honest opinions about the same. It was the first time since the Russia-Ukraine war that Putin has sat down with a Western journalist for an interview. Tate shared his opinion that the Russian President was soft on the American leadership.
The interview saw the Russian President make several subtle accusations at the U.S. government and the CIA. However, Tate believed that Putin could have ripped American society apart, but didn’t choose to do it.
Andrew Tate Comments On Tucker Carlson’s Interview With Vladimir Putin
Tucker Carlson released a whoppingly two-hour-long interview video with Vladimir Putin on his X account today. The Russian President talked at length about the history of the country, which was his justification for the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. In the interview, Putin accused the CIA of supporting Russian separatist groups, destroying the Nord Stream pipeline, and controlling the U.S. foreign policy.
Many Americans vehemently opposed the accusations put forth by Putin and even Carlson’s decision to interview him in the first place. However, Andrew Tate seemed to side with Putin and went on to share that the Russian President had the capability to rip apart American society. In his brief comment under Carlson’s interview, Tate compared Putin’s interview to playing chess with his dad, indicating that Putin was calculative in his moves. Tate commented:
Putin was soft.
He could have ripped American society apart.
The whole interview felt like playing my dad at chess.
You don’t know why the master moved the pawn…
And by the time you find out.
It’s too late.

Tate further analyzed the interview on his X page, where he shared that Putin was respected for his nationalism and track record of competency, something missing in “Western leadership”. He reiterated throughout his long post about how Putin knew things that “we” did not know. Tate described Putin’s attitude as altruistic and shared that the Russian President refrained from saying a lot of things that would galvanize public support for the war in Ukraine.
My analysis of the Putin interview.
I am only street smart.
Ive never professed to be anything else.
But these street smarts have taken me to the highest echelons of finance and fame without selling my soul, leaving me pitted in a mortal battle against The matrix for my very…

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate are currently under judicial restrictions as they await the trial in a human trafficking case against them. The Tate brothers have unsuccessfully appealed to lift the restrictions and even filed a defamation lawsuit against one of the accusers.
Andrew Tate Earlier Claimed That Vladimir Putin Cured COVID-19
Tucker Carlson earlier provided a platform for Andrew Tate in his debut episode. In a bizarre statement, Tate claimed that Putin should be given the credit for curing COVID-19. He revealed that when the Russian invasion of Ukraine happened, COVID-19 went away. He even went on to thank Vladimir Putin during the interview. Andrew Tate shared with Tucker Carlson (via The Independent):
“We should all give Putin credit for curing Covid. When his invasion happened, Covid went away. Thank you president Putin.”
Tate had earlier joked on his social media that Putin had taken over the news with the war in Ukraine, overshadowing the COVID-19 situation. Critics of both Carlson and Tate went on to bash both of them. Carlson had earlier defended Tate’s human trafficking allegations and called his arrest in Romania a “human rights violation”. However, during the interview, he distanced himself from commenting on the ongoing trial.
Nevertheless, Carlson received criticism for bringing the controversial far-right influencer onto his show, considering the seriousness of the allegations leveled against Tate. Despite the controversies, Tate continues to share his opinions on such matters with his 8.7 million followers on his X account.
