Quentin Tarantino has many eyes analyzing him as of late ever since his announcement of The Movie Critic being the final feature film before he retires. Being a filmmaker with such rapport and reputation, there is no surprise that the expectations for his upcoming film were more than blooming.
While the film was supposed to mark his swan song, it seems to be getting sidetracked again and again.

Another report that came flying by with it was the involvement of Brad Pitt in the film. However, that does not seem to be the case. In fact, Tarantino’s focus may not even be on his final project at the moment.

The filmmaker’s real goal may be far from public understanding, in a way that not only is he not working on The Film Critic, but even his project with Pitt seems to be long forgotten.

Quentin Tarantino is Not Working on The Movie Critic

In a report from The Hollywood Reporterit would seem as if Quentin Tarantino is not as interested in working on The Movie Critic at the moment. It is stated that while many had assumed that the film would act as his final one, that is far from the case. He had another project on the side alongside it. It would seem that his focus on interest shifted to a movie with Brad Pitt, one that would have reportedly worked with the concept of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Pitt was also reportedly set to reprise the role of Cliff Booth. Clearly, that meant The Movie Critic would not be Tarantino’s final film. The very setting of the project was still unclear with regard to whether or not it would be a sequel or a prequel. Things for the film seemed rather positive, considering how Tarantino was willing to let go of a film he greatly hyped.

The fate of even this mysterious movie seems to be unfortunate, seeing that even Pitt’s upcoming film has been sidelined.

Another One Bites the Dust

The Movie Critic is most definitely not Quentin Tarantino’s last film. After Brad Pitt’s project became the center of attention, that too has reportedly been taken away. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series of films that came one by one are all being put to the side.

Tarantino’s attention seems to have gone awry once again with another project. As per the sources, he is now working on an entirely new script apart from the two aforementioned. This new project has little to nothing known about it.

While the fans stay in the dark, it is more than evident now that perhaps Quentin Tarantino’s plans of retiring are far from coming true anytime soon.
