With the FIFA World Cup match around the corner, the US men’s national soccer team has been receiving inspirational messages from the fictional coach Ted Lasso, who Jason Sudeikis played. Each team member got a personally addressed message on a yellow billboard in their respective hometown. The messages were motivational, inspiring the players to do their best with a hint of comical relief as expected from Ted Lasso.
It is only the country’s biggest hope that the players are exceptionally inspired as well as share a smile or two by the efforts of Ted Lasso, the fictional optimistic coach played by Jason Sudeikis.
‘Ted Lasso’ sends inspirational messages to US national soccer team
Ted Lasso narrates the story of an American soccer coach, who was hired to manage a British Soccer team despite having no prior experience in the field. However, his compassion covers for the shorter ends and he manages to win the team over. Jason Sudeikis plays the titular character of Lasso in the series.

In light of recent events, bright yellow billboards have been popping out in the hometowns of the squad members of the US National Soccer Team, each with a humourous motivational message and signed apparently by ‘Ted Lasso’. The motivation subjects to their upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar which Sudeikis seems to be highly enthusiastic of.

Social media did the needful of circulating the hopeful messages from ‘Ted Lasso’ including the team’s Twitter account.
Lasso didn’t stop at just complimenting the player’s skills but even referred to their hometown’s notable characteristics. One such message read,
“They got a legendary skateboarder [Tony Hawk], a legendary children’s poet [Dr. Seuss], a legendary anchorman [the fictitious Ron Burgundy] and of course, a legendary soccer player: Luca de la Torrific,”
FIFA World Cup 2022 is set to take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
Olivia Wilde responds to the rumors that she left Jason Sudeikis for Harry Styles
Olivia Wilde, the House (2007-2012) actress has been making quite the headlines for the controversial love triangle of her, Harry Styles and Jason Sudeikis. The actress was engaged to Sudeikis in late November and the relationship bore two children, Otis and Daisy until it met its inevitable end at the start of the 2020 pandemic.
The Ted Lasso actor however was very distraught as a result of the separation and he didn’t take it well when the rumors surfaced of her former wife dating again. The actress collaborated with Harry Styles in the 2022 psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling during which the both sparked a connection.
While Wilde offered the statement that she and Sudeikis were long done before she met Styles, their nanny’s words proved contrary to the director’s claims.
“She wanted Harry to think things were over for a long time, by saying things had been horrible for a long time,” the nanny said. “That’s not true.”
However, in a profile with Vanity Fair, Wilde slammed the rumors that her relationship with the One Direction star overlapped with her relationship with the Horrible Bosses actor.
“The complete horseshit idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road, and we officially dissolved the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic.”
Harry Styles allegedly was pressured to break up with Wilde by his team, because of the Jason Sudeikis scandal, but he refused to do so.
