Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to release on February 2, 2024, and as much as Rocksteady would have expected and wanted, the game has not had the best reception. The game has been criticized for several things, such as its live-service elements, characters, and more.
As Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League nears its release, the post-launch content roadmap for the first year of the game has leaked and reveals new characters, but fans are upset as an iconic DC villain has been potentially skipped.
Iconic DC Character Might Have Been Skipped for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
A prominent leaker. Miller Ross has been talking and speculating about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and what players can expect in the game post-launch. The leaker recently shared a roadmap of a potential post-launch roadmap on X/Twitter, showing that the game might have four seasons in the first year, and every season is speculated to have two episodes.
The leak also stated that every episode will bring new content with narrative, cutscenes, weapons, gears, and more. Moreover, it was also revealed that the first episode of every new season will introduce a new character that will have tie-ins to the episode they arrive with. Some of the characters that are leaked to arrive are Joker, which has been hinted at by developer Rocksteady itself, a version of Mr. Freeze, Lawless, and Deathstroke.
While players are excited to see these characters in the game, many have reacted to the fact that the fan-favorite DC villain, Killer Croc, is not coming in the first year, and they will have to wait to play as the iconic villain. Killer Croc is the antagonist in Arkhamverse titles and also lost his hand in Batman: Arkham Knight. Although it is speculated that Killer Croc might arrive in the game at some point.
Lawless is said to be the character who will be introduced in Season 3 Episode 1, and that is speculated to coincide with Halloween. A player stated that it is “Stupid to not have Croc be the Halloween character,” with another adding, “Dang we’re gonna have to really wait for Croc lol.” One player added that there is a possibility that the game might fail and they mightn’t get to play Croc. Another player mentioned the game needs to bring Killer Croc sometime in Year 2.

Players also added that the game needs to do well at launch and survive, as they want to play with the rumored characters. While nothing has been confirmed so far by Rocksteady Studios, and players are advised to take this leak with a pinch of salt, some of Miller Ross’s previously speculated things have been accurate, and players are hoping to see them turn out to be true as well.
