Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is only weeks away from release and marks the return of Batman: Arkham Asylum famed Rocksteady Studios after nearly nine years. The game hasn’t been able to leave an impact on the players and many speculate that it will be one of the games that might fail this year. The alpha test of the game also did not receive favorable reviews from players.

While players wait for the game’s release on February 2, 2024, the potential post-launch content for the first year has been leaked and it reveals that players can expect seasons and episodes. Since this is just a leak, nothing has been confirmed by the developers but it still might be some things that players can consider as spoilers so it is advised to proceed at one’s discretion.

Potential Post-launch Content for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Is Leaked

The leak comes from a renowned leaker Miller Ross on X/Twitter who has previously leaked some stuff about the game that has been pretty accurate. According to Ross, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have seasons and episodes and is launching into what’s internally called “Season 0.” Every season in the game will have two episodes but Season 0 only has 1 Episode.

Miller states that Season 0 only has 1 Episode because of the campaign. It is added that every episode is “its own update'” and will have a “suite” of content with narrative, cutscenes, gears, and more. Kill the Justice League will have 4 Seasons, excluding Season 0 in the first year but the leak mentions there is an Episode 2: Finite Crisis.

Season 1 Episode 1: Fear might feature Joker and Episode 2 is called Duality. A rumor similar to the Episode 1 leak also surfaced from the developer’s Q&A session on Discord that hinted at Joker’s arrival in post-launch content and while it isn’t confirmed yet, this new leak only fuels that speculation.

Season 2 Episode 1: Frozen Heart will introduce a new character. The leak did not name the character but it is speculated that it might be Mr. Freeze. Episode 2 of Season 2 will be called Winter. Season 3 is said to arrive during Halloween and Episode 1 is called Thieves and will introduce Lawless. Season 3 Episode 2 is called Balance.

Season 4 Episode 1: Assassin will introduce Deathstroke, also known as Slade and Episode 2 is called Control. The second year has not been sorted into Seasons yet and does not have content planned as of now but the leaks mention that Episode 1 in the first season might be called Focus and speculate that it might bring Katana as the new character.

Players can expect new characters in every Season.

He added that Katana seems the closest out of the two names he has heard to arrive in Episode 1 of the second year. The Episode 2 of Year 2 is called Finality. Furthermore, the leak reveals that Storyline 2 will not be happening if “the game bombs” and developers “want out.” It is expected that all the new characters introduced in Episode 1 of each Season will have tie-ins to to the episode they will be released in and that will be reflected in the title of each episode.

It is also said that players will take on new enemies in each episode but the names haven’t been revealed. It’s important to mention that these are just leaks and players are advised to take this with a grain of salt and wait for confirmation from Rocksteady. The developer has already teased post-launch content so it might not be long before it shares a roadmap or something about it.
