Sony’s Rise of the Ronin has been making the rounds for a few days now, and it looks like the newest RPG has done an above-average job. Well, we can definitely say that this is a successful PS exclusive, especially considering the recent titles that lack in sales. To be honest, it definitely makes most folks impatient for the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be the sequel to the original game, released in 2020. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact release date at the moment. Here, we have to rely on leaks and rumors, at least for now. That said, titles like Rise of the Ronin make already impatient fans a little more jealous.
PlayStation’s Latest Soulslike Keeps Taking the Hits, but All Eyes on Are Ghost of Tsushima 2
Sucker Punch Studios is reportedly working on Ghost of Tsushima 2, and unfortunately, the rumor mill says it’s impossible for us to get something in 2024. Yes, that seems probably true, because even at Sony’s latest State of Play, nothing was said or shared about the upcoming game.
Many fans say that the more they play the latest RPG, the more they prefer Ghost of Tsushima. This is disheartening for genre fans who have not received an official statement about the upcoming game for a very long time. Sony definitely needs to address this issue soon.
It’s necessary to clarify some things here. Because Rise of the Ronin is definitely not a bad job. In fact, many fans say that the title does many things much better than the Ghost of Tsushima‘s first part.
The more I see Rise of the Ronin, the more I’d rather play Ghost of Tsushima

Some point out that there are four years between the two games and that a comparison is meaningless.
Hopefully Ghost of Tsushima 2 won't be as boring as the first part because I think Rise of the Ronin does everything much better than Thusima

Either way, it speaks to the fact that Sony needs to take matters into its own hands and invest time and money into the upcoming game.
What is the Latest Status of the Rise of the Ronin?
The games’ release last week made a significant impact on the gaming world. In fact, developer Team Ninja is so confident in the game that they set a lifetime goal of 5 million units. Although we do not have any official sales information at the moment, this goal can be achieved if the game maintains its popularity and continues to be updated with new additions.
The game also received an average score from critics. Its Metascore of 76 provides an important indication of whether it will surpass its 5 million sales target.
