After Rockstar Games dropped the first trailer for GTA 6 earlier this month, players have been excited to know more about the game, and that has led to a lot of fan theories and discussions about the title.
There have been several leaks about Grand Theft Auto 6 regarding its setting, characters, and plot, and now another story leak has surfaced on the internet. The leak sounds a bit too much on point for anyone to doubt its veracity, leading to a range of reactions.
This Leak for Rockstar Games’ GTA 6 Story Sounds on Point
Every Grand Theft Auto 6 fan has their theory and anticipation about the game and what it might entail. That has given the community quite a few theories that ended up coming true. For example, it was speculated that GTA 6 would take players back to the open world of Vice City and the trailer confirmed that. There were also rumors that there would be two protagonists, male and female, and the players saw two players in the trailer, although the male protagonist wasn’t seen much in action.
In the midst of so many Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks and fan theories, there was one leak about Grand Theft Auto 6‘s plot, which the community had missed, and the account that posted it was later deleted. However, the leak has once again surfaced online as Redditor, u/kingofhearts67, has posted the main takeaways from the story leaks and it just makes too much sense.
As per the leak, the plot of the game is Lucia, the first female protagonist in the franchise has a child that she abandons after a bank robbery. She then gets arrested for robbery and it is not known if the child is a girl or a boy and the child only appears in cutscenes/ flashbacks to set up the narrative. Lucia then goes to prison and is released on probation, implying time jumps.
Jason, the male protagonist, picks her up when she’s released and the duo plans robberies in that period, which results in them falling in love. However, it is still not known how they got to know each other in the first place. The majority of robberies are said to be planned at a nightclub known as the Vault and the first mission will see players playing as Jason.
Jason will follow a plane that is carrying a Russian drug dealer and meet with the dealer to make a plan for stealing drugs. It is also said that during the drugs stealing mission, the drugs fall into the ocean as they are chased by the police and there is another mission where players will have to dive in the ocean to retrieve the drugs.
Although this is a leak and it is recommended to take it with a grain of salt, it has been confirmed by the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer that Lucia is in prison. While it isn’t revealed how she came to be in prison, it could be that she was caught during the bank robbery. The official artwork of the game also shows that Lucia is wearing an ankle monitor, so it could be true as well that she was released on probation.
Another reason why this sounds on point is that the trailer shows Jason and Lucia trying to get away after a robbery with Jason driving. Lucia has dollar bills in her hands with the police in pursuit. Hence, it might be that it was the same robbery where Lucia got caught. Whatever the case, this plot is pretty intriguing and it might very well be true but nothing can be said certainly until we get any official confirmation from Rockstar.
The original post had also mentioned some gameplay mechanics that were referenced in the massive September 2022 leaks, but since this came after the leaks, it was also overlooked. It remains to be seen if all this turns out to be true or remains a theory, which is too many at this point.
