Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated films to come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This isn’t only because fans are excited to see their favorite, Merc with the Mouth, grace the screens again, but also because on top of this being this character’s introduction into the MCU, this film will help bring back one of the most beloved characters from the MCU, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.

It would seem, however, that this isn’t all that this film can do, as there may be a possibility that this film helps solve one of the biggest problems that the MCU has right now, an underwhelming villain, played by a controversial actor. Could it be possible for Kang to be defeated and dealt with long before Avengers: Secret Wars takes place?

Kang Has Failed As A Villian

Despite how hard Marvel has been trying to establish Kang the Conqueror as a villain as threatening and iconic as Thanos, they are failing. Though he has been put forth as the next big bad for the franchise’s foreseeable future, there are many reasons why fans do not want it to be as such. On top of the legal trouble faced by Johnathan Majors, who plays the role of He Who Remains, there is also the fact that many simply do not think him to have the same aura and feeling that a villain as dangerous as Kang should have.

While many have proposed that Marvel abandon this plot altogether, using the vast multiverse as an excuse to find a better villain, Marvel might not have to write this character out. They could simply kill him off at the hands of two of the most powerful characters, not only from the MCU but also from Marvel Comics.

Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool 3 Can Fix This

Wolverine and Deadpool are two of the strongest characters from Marvel. On top of being extremely strong, fast, and durable, the two are immortal beings, giving them as big an advantage as one can get in front of their opponents. With Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool 3 coming soon and featuring these two characters, this would be the perfect opportunity for Marvel to let go of Kang as a villain.

In Deadpool films, it is a well-known phenomenon for characters to get killed off left and right suddenly, just for the giggles of the audience. While killing Kang’s character like this would certainly come with some pushback, it would provide them with the perfect opportunity to move on from this rough patch and introduce a better threat.
