Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds and co-star Hugh Jackman have been friends for a long time. Their chemistry is adored by fans, both on and off the screen. Recently the Deadpool & Wolverine famed actors have been making rounds promoting their movie while sharing personal stories about each other. The actors are huge on pranks and have quite a lot of fun on the sets.
Ryan Reynolds, a known prankster and an actor who is loved because of his amazing sense of humor, shared a funny instance. It involved co-actor Hugh Jackman, who played one too many pranks on the Deadpool actor when he least expected it.
Hugh Jackman’s unique advert for co-actor
In 2019, Ryan Reynolds and The Wolverine actor were jokingly feuding online. In a video in which they featured together, the duo called for a ‘truce’, and promised to film an advert for each other’s drink brands. The Deadpool actor owns the popular Aviation Gin company while Jackman was the creator of Laughing Man Coffee.
Both the actors shot adverts for each other, where Reynolds made a sincere and professional ad for Jackman’s coffee brand. Jackman on the other hand, first refused to show his video and then hesitantly shared it. It turns out The Wolverine actor thought that the former might take this chance to mock him, so instead he used this opportunity to ‘take a piss’ at his co-actor.

In the short video, Jackman mocked Reynolds, cursing him jokingly and then saying he thought “The gin is great though”. Then he went on to pop off the lid of the bottle and pour it on its side, causing the drink to spill on the table.
Hugh Jackman’s ‘dress code’ party
In another instance in December of 2018, at a small party organized by Jackman, he and Jake Gyllenhaal took this opportunity to play another prank on their friend. They invited Reynolds to the gathering advising him to wear his ugliest sweater, claiming that it was the ‘theme’ of the night.
Gullibly, the actor arrived at the party sporting the most horrendous green and red sweater combined with a giant golden bow on top, adhering to the ‘dress code’. On arrival however, the actor noticed that something was off as he was the only one the ‘dress code’ applied to, all other guests were dressed luxuriously in their ‘Sunday best’.
Reynolds took to social media to share his plight, posting a photo showcasing his ridiculous outfit. Jackman and Gyllenhaal grinned and cheered due to their successful prank. Fans shared their amusement and delight at the genius prank pulled off by the two actors, while some seemed to appreciate Reynold’s peculiar fashion tastes.
