The script was written by Goldstein and Daley before the WGA Writers Strike began, and they will also be directing the film as their follow-up to Game Night and the aforementioned Dungeons & Dragons movie. After Reynolds finishes shooting Deadpool 3, which is now filming in the UK, the action-adventure film may begin production. Along with the movie’s logline, specifics about Reynolds and Branagh’s characters are kept under wraps.

Speaking of the Marvel Studios feature, Ryan Reynolds is now filming the Deadpool sequel in London but is unable to improvise because he is a credited writer on the project. And due to the ongoing WGA strike, cannot make any changes to the script.

Since Reynolds isn’t permitted to improvise, the ongoing Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) strike poses a possible improv challenge for the actor. Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds’ improv in Deadpool 3 received some encouraging news from Rob Liefeld, the man behind the character of Deadpool. Reynolds’ failure to improvise dialogue in the third chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series has been a concerning topic lately, but Liefeld dismissed the same.

The action-adventure film is an adaptation of Goldstein and Daley’s original pitch, which they presented to Skydance earlier this year and have started to develop.

But not much is currently known about the movie, the action feature’s logline is being kept a secret. However, it has come to light that Skydance had been working on the project in secret for a while.

The action-adventure movie, which stars Reynolds as the lead, may also be evocative of Red Notice, in which he previously appeared with Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson. Although Branagh’s role is yet unknown, he could be an antagonist or a sidekick to Reynolds’ character.

Reynolds previously collaborated with Apple on the holiday musical Spirited, which at the time was the biggest movie ever to debut on Apple+. He also contributed to the Netflix science fiction film The Adam Project with Skydance.
