Breaking Bad
The 2024 SAG Awards saw a mini Breaking Bad reunion! Fans were thrilled to see Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Dean Norris, and R.J. Mitte took the stage together. They weren’t just there for nostalgia. They had the honor of presenting the award for Best Drama Series Ensemble to the cast of Succession.
This reunion held special significance as Breaking Bad itself won the same award a decade ago. But the real treat was the playful banter the cast brought to the stage, injecting a delightful and entertaining element that had the audience in fits of laughter.

The Devil Wears Prada
Fans of the beloved film The Devil Wears Prada were treated to a delightful surprise at the 2024 SAG Awards. The leading ladies of the movie, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Meryl Streep, reunited on stage, sending the audience down memory lane. In the film, Streep portrayed the formidable Miranda Priestly, the editor of a high-fashion magazine. Hathaway played the role of Andy Sachs, while Blunt stole scenes as Emily Charlton.
The trio, who starred in the hit 2006 film, presented the award for best male actor in a comedy series during the 30th annual ceremony. Streep, dressed in a stylish burgundy Prada dress, joked about forgetting her glasses and the award envelope, prompting Blunt and Hathaway to playfully emerge with both items in hand.

Modern Family
The cast of Modern Family also reunited on stage with stars Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Ed O’Neill talking about their lives following the hit show aired its final season. They all gathered there to declare the winner of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
“250 episodes, it never happens!” said Bowen, talking about their show’s long run.
“Happened twice to me,” retorted O’Neill.
There’s less chance of any revival of the ABC program.

Lord of the Rings
The Lord Of The Rings co-stars Elijah Wood and Sean Astin also reunited on stage to present the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role.
“How’s it been 20 years?” Wood asked Astin, who replied, “It’s been 20 years, and yet I’m sorry you couldn’t be there that night.“
Wood jokingly told Astin, “Sean, you were supposed to collect my statue for me if we won, what happened to it?”
“Well, it’s somewhere. If by somewhere you mean frodo-fan-7-11’s shelf because he bought it on eBay? Sorry,” Astin joked, while Wood responded, “Sean!“
Astin continued, “No, I just read that Marie Kondo book, and it was just sort of a purge. Anyhow, I just threw it in the fire.“
Wood replied by telling Astin he’s “totally taking his gift bag tonight,” to which Astin said, “Fair enough.”

Anyway, Awards shows are a good place to watch all our favorite stars together, once again, which is very rare.
