Most people believe that the life of a celebrity is quite easy, however, that is not the case as the artists are expected to give their best on the sets with heavy makeup or costumes for hours. Acting in extreme conditions can often be exhausting for them.

Recently, actress Sasha Calle appeared for an interview with Collider and talked about her experience working in The Flash. At one point, the actress was asked if she faced any “tough days in terms of filming.” Calle replied,

“I guess the real pain in the a** – but by pain in the a**, meaning my body was hurting a lot, but I was having a lot of fun – was the silo scene. It was, like, about a week of me at the silo scene, and I was really blessed and honored. Eunice [Huthart] was our stunt coordinator [who] allowed me to do my stunts, and it was exhausting. I love stunts so much, and they give me this adrenaline, and I love the fighting. I love becoming, I love learning, and just getting better at it, so those were very exhausting days.”

The silo scene which she talked about was when Barry Allen, Barry Allen’s past self, and Michael Keaton’s Batman go to rescue Sasha Calle’s Supergirl in Siberia from an underground facility. During the interview, Calle also revealed that the scene was actually longer but it was cut short because it was “a little too rated R.

Sasha Calle further explained that she had to take a 30-minute salt bath every night in order to prepare herself for the next day. She said,

“My little brother was with me, and after the adrenaline rush, your body kind of gets… you just crumble, and I had to do like 30-minute salt baths every night, and I had to set an alarm, and that’s tough work. A bath sounds very nice, but imagine every night you gotta put salt in a bath and you have to sit there for 30 minutes and time yourself. So there was a lot of healing that I needed to do as well. But it was an incredible experience, and alongside me, I did have Jade [Tazmin Robertson], Talila [Craig], and Eunice to be with me and support me through that whole week, and I love that scene so much.”

It is believed that taking a sea salt bath relieves stress, eases achy muscles, and treats irritated skin. Another effect is said to be that it alleviates weight on the muscles and joints and reduces inflammation.

The Flash is all set to hit the theatres on June 16th, 2023 in the United States.
