Will there be a second season of Scavengers Reign
Will there be a second season of Scavengers Reign

In a conversation with ComicBook.com, co-executive producers Sean Buckelew and James Merrill discussed the possibility of a sequel. The outlet asked if there will be a return to the universe of Scavengers Reign via a spin-off or sequel following the first season’s arrival on MAX. The co-executive producer Merrill said:

“Oh absolutely. I do feel like we tried to tell a complete story, not a puzzle box that tries to lure people back. That being said, we do have some big ideas as to what could come next. I hope that we get to do it because we want to explore what comes next. We only saw a little bit of the planet.”

Merrill’s enthusiasm about the potential for a sequel in the Scavengers Reign universe looks visible. The way he said that they almost told the whole story, but there’s more to explore the planet in future projects. It’s definite that there will be a second sequel to the series.
