The newly announced Dragon Ball DAIMA has won the fandom of the series all over again, as they had grown bored of watching similar content over and over again. The show is set to showcase the kid versions of the entire cast, and Akira Toriyama has played a major role in the anime series’ production, which has set the fans’ minds at ease. The show which is set to release in the fall of 2024 is going to celebrate the legacy of the series and showcase our favorite Z-fighters in a new avatar.

Even though DBS received a warm welcome because it was the original successor to Z, the question remains how the show will conclude? DBS is set a decade in the future that takes place between Majin Buu’s defeat and the final chapter of Dragon Ball Z. Hence, the show’s conclusion always remains a mystery to the viewers of the show.
However, Dragon Ball DAIMA, on the other hand, doesn’t fall under this category, as it is meant to be a standalone story. The upcoming series will have its own story and have its ending, which makes it easier to satisfy the viewers with its ending. This gives the upcoming show, an upper hand over DBS, and if everything aligns correctly, it’ll become the new popular series in the franchise.
