“Shakira has seen the rumors”: Shakira Denies to Believe Tom Cruise Wants to Date Her After Their Recent Meeting

Shakira is one of the most successful Colombian singers and songwriters in the entertainment industry. She has made her career from scratch and landed herself the Queen of Latin Music title. The singer attended Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix last weekend, and her visit to the event has gotten her into the headlines. The Colombian singer went through a messy breakup with her 12-year beau Gerard Piqué in June 2022. She recently moved to Miami from Barcelona to have a new start.

The 46-year-old was spotted enjoying the race with Tom Cruise at the event. Cruise being the Hollywood heartthrob has helmed some of the best action films in the industry and is honored as the biggest star of Hollywood. The actor and the pop star had a fun time together as they sparked dating rumors. The 60-year-old actor opened up about his desire to court the Hip’s Don’t Lie singer, but she denied the proposal.

Shakira denies dating rumors about Tom Cruise

The Hollywood industry went into a frenzy when Shakira and Tom Cruise were seen smiling and having a fun time at the F1 event in Miami. The duo sparked romance rumors, and a source close to the Top Gun actor confirmed he is very much interested in dating the Waka Waka singer. With the news swirling around of Cruise being interested in courting the 46-year-old singer, a source close to the singer revealed to US Weekly that she is not interested in dating the 60-year-old star.

The source said,

“He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.”

The source also revealed that the Colombian singer is aware of the rumors that the Top Gun: Maverick actor is courting her and she denies those. The source added,

“Shakira has seen the online rumors that Tom has been courting her — and how fans are chiming in with their opinions — but she thinks it’s hilarious because it’s just not true.”

After ditching Cruise, the Grammy winner was spotted on a date with racer Lewis Hamilton, changing the course of headlines.

Is Shakira Dating Lewis Hamilton?

 Shakira relocated to Miami from Barcelona after splitting up with long-time boyfriend, Gerard Piqué. The Waka Waka singer attended the Miami F1 Grand Prix while attempting to fit in and adapt to the Miamian culture.

The 46-year-old singer, who was appearing as a spectator in the hotly debated F1 race, caught attention when she entered with Tom Cruise, the Hollywood star. As the rumors rolled in of them dating, a source close to her revealed she is not interested in dating.

With ditching Cruise, the Queen of Latin Music was seen mingling with Lewis Hamilton. A video went viral on social media showing the Te Felicito singer and Hamilton enjoying dinner at Cipriani. Fans were not over with their first date, the duo even had their second date on a luxurious yacht. The pop star was seen smiling during her date with the seven-time Formula 1 champion.

Although she and the Mercedes driver haven’t confirmed their romance, they have created quite a buzz.
