Starfield is about to get one feature that the gaming community thinks should have been present on launch day. Despite the technical superiority of the Xbox Series X, players could not travel from one planet to the next immediately, and this is where the modding community comes in.

Bethesda Game Studios gave the modding community the best gift through the Creation Kit, it is the complete package and is the stuff of what a modder’s dream is made of. Players can do some interesting things with this kit and has only begun to scratch the surface.

Bethesda Game Studios was generous enough to offer the perfect gift to the modding community. Fans have come up with many impressive mods in the past few weeks like adding a new skill tree dedicated to the lightsaber fighting technique inspired by the Star Wars franchise in Starfield.

Other mods were cosmetic items like being able to suit up as Zack Snyder’s Batman and the Mandalorian but nothing compares to what this new mod has given to the gaming community.

Interplanetary space travel is essentially a requirement for an ambitious space game like this after the developers promised to be able to travel to different planets with ease. The game developers may have overlooked its significance and didn’t bother to add it to the game on day one.

However, Bethesda Game Studios previously managed to patch in a world map that was also lacking on day one. There will always be issues with a game like this at launch and the developers could have been planning to add interplanetary travel themselves but the fans beat them to it first.

There is always room for improvement and the gaming community can see it and is doing its part to make it better. The modders are providing any support they can and help realize the vision of the developers.

Perhaps Bethesda Game Studios always intended to let the gaming community get creative and fill in the gaps. The developers must have had an idea of the talent possessed by the game’s fans and gave them all the tools they needed to make the game a unique experience.

The Creations Kit is the perfect gift to augment the gaming experience. Modding has been frowned upon in the past, but the shift in public opinion has been a nice change of pace.
