Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios’ dream project and the developers finally brought it to life last year for the Xbox Series X/S, and on PC. While the ambitious space game may not appeal to everyone it is still a work of art that will only improve from here.
Bethesda Game Studios CEO and game director Todd Howard teased the future of the video game and even revealed an update that is scheduled to be released within the week. The highly anticipated Shattered Space expansion was hinted to launch in the fall later this year.
More Starfield Content Is on the Horizon
During a guest appearance at the Kinda Funny podcast hosted by Greg Miller, Howard took the time and share details about the major projects being worked on at Bethesda Games Studios. The game developers also worked on the Elder Scrolls series and the Fallout franchise which just received a live-action adaptation from Amazon Prime Video and Howard served as a producer.
Howard teased a new update for his latest game and fans are beyond excited. The update will feature new mechanics for players to better improve the build quality of their space shuttle which will encourage creativity and resourcefulness.
The update may not be groundbreaking but it is still a welcome addition and a message from developers to the players that there is much more in store for the future.
Expansions are often sought after by fans who are left either unsatisfied or itching for more content, Howard has high hopes for the DLC and the studio has a good track record of releasing great post-launch content. The developers are still hard at work to ensure a smooth DLC launch later this year.
