There has been a lot of chatter surrounding Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web and very little is positive. On top of the horrible reviews from the critics and the underwhelming fan response, the film finds itself amid yet another scandal.
Recently, the other supporting cast, including Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor, revealed some interesting information about Madame Web herself. Something that has raised more than a few eyebrows.
It was revealed by the stars that Johnson had left all of them seen on. Additionally, it would seem that the actress made no effort to bond with her co-stars. This has prompted speculation that Johnson may not have enjoyed her time on set as much as she would like fans to think and there is more than enough evidence to back this theory.
Dakota Johnson Ignored Her Co-Stars
During an interview with MTV, Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor talked about their Madame Web co-star, Dakota Johnson. Interestingly enough, they revealed that they had all sent messages to the actress, which she had ended up seeing by not replying to them. They then added that this exact thing had happened through the two-year-long filming of the Marvel film.
“Dakota definitely left me on read.” said Celeste O’Connor.
While it is safe to assume that the three actresses meant absolutely no harm with their comments, it is difficult to ignore the impoliteness on Johnson’s part. The simple conversation on this matter may have turned into something bigger as many cannot help but notice a pattern in the entire press tour of Madame Web.
Does Dakota Johnson Dislike Her Co-Stars?
Many fans could not help but notice the format in which the stars of Madame Web are going about the press tour of the film. While the lead actress, Dakota Johnson, does all her interviews on her own, the other three protagonists, Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor, seem to be in groups.
This has prompted many to wonder if the pairing is in such a manner for a reason. Could it be that Johnson is not all too fond of her co-stars and would rather spend so much time doing interviews on her own than spending it with them?
Some have also started to find it odd how the actress has publically badmouthed the film that she should be promoting. Johnson has gone as far as to say that the final story of Madame Web was not the one she signed onto, claiming that scripts had been changed completely during production.
