Back in October. Spears alleged in her book that Timberlake wasn’t so enthusiastic about becoming a parent, leading to her going over an excruciating abortion, while also alleging he was unfaithful. And while the pop star took to her IG to apologize to anyone who felt offended by her book, including Timberlake, the Selfish singer had no intentions of burying the hatchet

Britney Spears Felt Humiliated Following Justin Timberlake’s Comments Alleged Insider

While Britney Spears decided to take the high ground and apologize to Justin Timberlake as she gushed over his song, Selfish, the sentiments weren’t the same on the Trolls Star’s side. Just days after the heartfelt apology from the Toxic singer, during his concert in New York, Timberlake said, “I like to take this opportunity to apologize — to absolutely f—ing nobody”. An Insider alleged that the harsh comments from Timberlake left Spears humiliated, who was only trying to bury the hatchet and be the bigger person by praising the Cry Me a River singer’s new song.

Speaking with In Touch Weekly, the Insider stated:

“She was extending an olive branch when she said she’s ‘in love’ with his new song, and he threw it right back in her face. She even said his song ‘Sanctified’ is ‘wow too. ‘But Justin doesn’t seem to care. Maybe he’s still livid over [her memoir] The Woman in Me,” which includes details of his alleged cheating and forcing Spears for abortion. Britney was really trying to take the high road by praising his new music, and Justin was a j— and shot her down… It’s humiliating — but at least Britney knows she did the right thing.”

Although she seemingly felt embarrassed after having her kind words thrown back at her face, the Toxic singer didn’t hold back while taking a shot at the Selfish singer without directly mentioning him.
