The official story trailer for Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws is officially out on YouTube and the game is facing criticism from a certain section of gamers for an absurd reason. Some people are unsatisfied with how Kay Vess is portrayed in the game. Being the lead character, these people expected the character to be more appealing. Thankfully, many gamers united on social media to destroy these ‘incels.’
On the other hand, Shift Up’s Stellar Blade is under scrutiny for the over-s*xualization of its female lead, Eve. Gamers have bashed the studios for objectifying Eve to attract the male audience. This situation just proves that developers can’t cater to everyone.
Gamers destroy incels who claimed that Star Wars Outlaws‘ lead character is not hot enough
Some people on social media are bashing Ubisoft for not making the female lead of Star Wars Outlaws not hot enough. The character, Kay Vess, is a young human female from the Worker’s District in Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica in the Star Wars universe. The unnecessary hate against Kay Vess’ portrayal united gamers on social media as they teamed up to shut down these incels,
First of all, she’s 80s hot… she looks like every haircut from that era that attractive people had. Men and women. It was a wild time.

Saw this earlier lmfao but yeah the idea that women can't have a chiseled jawline is crazy since they have them in real life all the time. Then again these guys don't talk to women in real life 😭

they haven't interacted with real women in ages.

Personally think she looks cool, I can't wait to play the game

I can't imagine my biggest criteria when a game is revealed being "is the main character hot enough?"

It is indeed unusual that players are more interested in the character’s appearance rather than what the game offers. Set during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Outlaws features a fully open world, stealth and open combat, vehicle combat, space combat, and branching dialogue. Check out the trailer of the game below:
In the game, Vess teams up with her companion, Nix, to “attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen.“ Star Wars Outlaws will be released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on 30th August 2024.
Stellar Blade is being criticized for making its female lead too appealing
Shift Up’s upcoming Soulslike game, Stellar Blade, has been making huge waves in the gaming industry. Apart from its mechanics, visuals, and combat, the game is also in the headlines for its female lead, Eve. The characters’ unusual outfits have been a topic of discussion as it appears like developers are objectifying the character and are using her to convince players to buy the game.
As for Star Wars Outlaws, things are looking good as there is a lot of anticipation for the game. There has been some disappointment with the game’s hefty price tag, but fans are convinced that the game will prove itself to be the best Star Wars game.
