After the report of the rumored Marvel Zombies TV series was announced, the actress opened up about how her character will be the focus of the show like Frodo Baggins from Lord of The Rings.
Iman Vellani Will Lead The Upcoming Marvel Zombies Disney+ Series
The audience may remember the first season of Marvel’s What If… TV series that was released two years ago, specifically the fifth episode where The Watcher gave us our first look at a universe where the earth’s mightiest heroes were against a horde of zombies. Well, Marvel Studios decided to expand upon the possibility.
Thus, the fans will be receiving an upcoming miniseries, titled Marvel Zombies, which is all set to focus on new heroes recently introduced in the MCU.

In a recent interview with The Direct, actress Iman Vellani opened up about her involvement in the upcoming show as Kamala Khan, widely popular as Ms. Marvel. Here, when asked what we can expect from her to bring to the table, she made a major revelation that she may be the main focus of the show.
She revealed that the series has already finished production and that there are going to be interactions with new characters she had always fantasized about. She said:
“We’ve done the whole thing. It was amazing. It was so much fun. And I love—there are a lot of cool characters in the ‘Marvel Zombies’ show. And Kamala is kind of the center of the show. They described it to me, it’s like, ‘She’s basically the Frodo of the story.’ And I was like, ‘That’s amazing.’”
Fans are also excited about the potential appearance of Captain America and Captain Marvel in the upcoming show since they were also some of the heroes who fell victim to the zombie apocalypse who could also be the characters Kamala has to face in the miniseries.

What Will Marvel Zombies Be About?
As stated previously, the upcoming show will elaborate on the zombie episode of What If…, and expand upon it with the familiar horror flavor of flesh-eating zombies.
On top of being one of the first batch of MCU’s R-rated projects in the franchise, the show is also ready to bring in new and upcoming characters from the main timeline. These new superheroes include Yelena Belova, Shang-Chi, and Kamala Khan amongst all the others that were recently introduced, who will be fighting the plague of zombies infecting the world.
