Megyn Kelly, on the January 17 episode of her The Megyn Kelly Show talked about plastic surgery and called it no less than a social illness. Accusing actress Erin Moriarty of using the medical procedure to change her appearance and influencing young girls and people negatively, Kelly had stated,

“It’s not about an objection to plastic surgery, it’s about an obsession with turning yourself into this fake version of yourself. I find it like a sign of mental illness. I really want to get in the heads of these young girls and say, ‘Please don’t do this.'”

The reporter further went on to show what she labeled as the brand-new photo of Moriarty to show the drastic difference between her alleged changed-up appearance. Calling it an AI-generated face, Kelly’s alleged accusations led to heaps of hate for The Boys star.

Responding to the claim, Erin Moriarty debunked the reporter’s claims while expressing how hurt she felt in an Instagram post.

“This is something I truly never anticipated writing. We’re all subject to levels of bullying throughout our lives but I am horrified and felt that I deserved to take a second to address these things. I had no idea what was going on, to be honest, because I’ve had one of the most challenging weeks of my life.”

Further adding that the photo was a decade old before she was of Legal Drinking Age, her revelation led to fans only turning against her.
