Brie Larson is hated by almost all marvel fans for several reasons, one being the awkward interviews and interactions with the rest of the cast, the original Avengers cast is loved and adored. Larson’s interactions with them being awkward and uncomfortable create the wrong impression of her and so fans tend to side with the original Avengers or with those actors that seem a little more easygoing. In many interviews, she has been snubbed and told off yet it does not stop the Captain Marvel star. Larson is confident of her craft and has received numerous accolades to prove it.
Brie Larson gets challenged by Chris Hemsworth for a fight
In an old interview when Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, and Don Cheadle were touring together for the promotions of Avengers: Endgame, Larson claimed that she was the most powerful Avenger. Her assertion that it was a fact and not a belief pissed Hemsworth off. He challenged her to a fight out of frustration. When the trio was asked about any competition between the actors about who is stronger Larson jumped to say,
“There’s no competition for me because i’m the strongest so, it’s just kind of like a difference, it’s not as i’ve said before, it’s not it’s just a fact it’s not a personal opinion, it’s not a reflection on what you can’t do but it is also kind of a reflection on all these”
This got Chris Hemsworth visibly riled up and he challenged her, “should we have a fight” and Larson retorts again. The two share a love-hate relationship as it is visible that Hemsworth and Larson do not go together yet manage to create some moments of pure joy and genuine conversations. In the same interview, many pointed out how Larson made Don Cheadle awkward, and even though the Iron Man actor cleared it out the hate did not stop.
Brie Larson has received an unjustified amount of hate
The Oscar-winning actress has been at the receiving end of hate comments, snarky remarks, and misogynistic and sexist rebukes from Marvel fandom and others. Over the years, she has tried to rebuttal, call out, and silence these comments without relief in sight.
The actress has been hated for small and petty reasons like annoying her cast and co-actors. The above-stated interview is mentioned to be one of the biggest reasons Larson is faced with so much hate from Marvel fans, most of them are sexist and beyond redemption. Hopefully, newer films like The Marvels will give Larson appropriate scenes and character depth to work with.
