Since the origin of first-person shooters, especially in the multiplayer part of any game, one incredibly annoying but unavoidable strategy has always been the camper. The celebrity Joe Rogan has spoken about this on his podcast.
After mentioning Call of Duty and campers, he was very clear about this strategy and said that this is something that happens in war. He was saying that people are very mad about campers; he added that you are not going to war and said, “Don’t be a camper.”
Joe Rogan is justifying campers on Call of Duty
Call of Duty has all kinds of players and tactics in its different modes. But one particular strategy in any first-person shooter will always be hated. With camping, this particular tactic is that a player must achieve the best possible spot on the map to shoot and kill enemies from a distance without being detected or just surviving in the same spot as long as possible.
But not all people agree with this; some even justify this strategy by comparing it with a real-world war scenario. Joe Rogan, a famous podcaster, former martial artist, and comedian, has some very solid points about campers.
In one of the recent episodes of The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster shared a very controversial opinion about campers. After a clip was uploaded, fans have been arguing amongst themselves regarding Rogan’s opinion.
Rogan said that campers are something very common in war; you will not criticize a sniper who is hiding on a battlefield. The same goes for campers; they are snipers fulfilling a role. He declared the following: “You gonna get mad at snipers in a war? Shut the fuck up, that’s a part of the war!”
The camper conundrum
Many players have strong opinions about campers and began to reply to this post with all kinds of arguments. Users agreed at some point with Rogan, and others said that this is not war; it is a game, and campers are very annoying, especially in Warzone. Other users pointed out that Rogan is definitely an avid Call of Duty player for saying these things.
As for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, a lot of new content will be coming today in the game. Thanks to the mid-season update, Season 2 Reloaded will bring new maps and more Modern Warfare Zombies content, as well as a new collaboration with Warhammer 40K: Space Marine.
