On June 27th, in just 10 days, players will be able to traverse the brand-new island of Sakurajima, a Japanese-themed abode with a new desert area and swamp area, as seen in the trailer. There will be a lot of new Pals, as well as an Arena, new buildings, a raid boss, a faction boss, a stronghold, and an increased level cap.

If you’ve been keeping up with the game, you should be good to jump right into the update. However, Global Community Manager Bucky has some important news to share that players should keep in mind before jumping right in.

With the increased level cap, there’s no question about it being time to amp up the difficulty of the game. As Bucky mentions, it’s a good idea to reach at least level 45 to 50 so that you’ll have a decent chance at clearing the content without getting unfairly steamrolled.

Hopefully, you’ve been splitting your time between Palworld and Elden Ring to prepare for their major content expansions. If not, you’ve got your work cut out for you.

The Hype for Sakurajima Cannot Be Contained

There are so many new things to do and not enough time to do them all at once.

While there are a lot of exciting new things to try out in the update, no doubt, the Pal Arena is a ranking member among them. In a game like this, PVP modes are borderline a need. There might be a lot of people coming back just for the Arena.

The update will also make it easier for players to set up breeding bases, judging from the sulfur and coal mines that popped up in the original trailer. Looks like Pocketpair has been listening to their fans.

With just 10 days left for Sakurajima, the wait is agonizing but nearly over. The days will zoom by, so get to grinding before the update arrives.
