Scheduled to release in 2025, the movie would focus on Clark Kent’s early years in the town of Smallville, and touch upon his human upbringing in the classic American Way. With three actors reportedly to be on the final list, fans cannot help but wonder who among the three it is that has left an unparalleled impression on the Guardians of the Galaxy director.

“There’s things in there that are completely false, but I… I can’t go out there and say, ‘Oh this isn’t true, and this isn’t true’ without going through everything. And by the way, it’s not the audience’s — at this point, I don’t think it’s the business of anyone who is screen-testing for a role. That is a very private thing.”

While we must wait for an official confirmation, there have been rumors that Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, and Tom Brittney are the chosen 3 who could potentially replace Henry Cavill.

Superman: Legacy is scheduled to release on July 11, 2025.
