So far, anime like Suicide Squad Isekai, Highlander: The Search for Evidence, Supernatural: The Animation, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Legend of Supermutant have been adapted from popular Western franchises. While some have performed extremely well, others have not reached a wider audience, and this could be due to various parameters like animation quality, music, directorial skill, the popularity of the original franchise, etc.

A Breaking Bad anime has been discussed plenty of times among fans. Some agree that several scenes in the series could be further fleshed out if it received an anime adaptation. Of course, many scenes might have to be altered or cut out depending on the requirements of the anime. In fact, some original scenes are bound to lose their luster in the adaptation procedure.

However, a responsible anime studio will definitely take it upon itself to create a perfectly inspired anime. The plot might not remain the same as the source material, but fans would love to see a new spin on Breaking Bad as well. All in all, it is a series worth waiting for.

You can watch Breaking Bad on Netflix.
