Critically regarded as the most exceptional show in the world, the series was a true testament to the heights that the silver screen can manage to achieve with storytelling, turning every moment into perfection. But despite all these praises, series director and creator Vince Gilligan says that they did commit a blunder in the show, which was making Jesse’s teeth just as perfect as the series.

Even when you watch every single frame of any episode from any of the five seasons of AMC’s Breaking Bad, there’s almost nothing you would fight wrong with them, instead, you may just appreciate the show even more for the attention to detail. But one thing that almost everyone missed in the series was just how perfect Aaron Paul‘s teeth looked throughout the show’s run.

This was addressed by series creator and director Vince Gilligan, who was also one of the first ones to point out this mistake made by them during their shoots. In a past interview with Variety, the Better Call Saul director reflected on the fact that Pinkman had near-perfect teeth, something that shouldn’t apply to a methhead like him who also got brutally beaten up several times during the show. He said:

“I think the one thing we got wrong was Aaron Paul’s teeth, They’re too damn perfect! For a guy who got beaten up as much as he did and smoked that much meth, his teeth would not look so beautiful. We probably did the country a disservice, but having said that, Aaron’s easy on the eyes so that was just as well for folks watching.”

And despite this major oversight, fans of the show couldn’t care less, as the narrative is what gripped them and made them hold on to their seats.
